Bush TV22 Restoration: New Line Output Transformer

The Bush TV22 is the classic early-1950s British television. This set's line output transformer had failed completely: open windings from damp, a rusted core and nested formers that can't be unwound. The report works through the options: a new ferrite transformer with a solid-state EHT tripler, and reusing the good lower windings of a donor transformer.
